Custom Size Filters

Filters are important. Though most people rarely consider the importance of their air filters, we know how important filters really are. They are as important as the air we breathe—or at least important for the air we breathe. The air we breathe is rarely clean or pure, but air filters keep the air running through our homes much cleaner and healthier.

Why are air filters so important?

First, air filters protect the HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) system. Second, indoor air is filled with microscopic pollutants that are harmful when breathed. Contaminants like dust, pollen, mold spores, and bacteria are present in the air and can easily trigger allergies, asthma, sinuses, and other breathing problems. This is why air filters are so important. Air filters are specifically designed to remove pollutants from the air we breathe. Air flowing through the HVAC system is filtered before it is sent back throughout the house; this not only keeps cleaner air flowing through the house, but it also protects the HVAC system against wear and tear from large airborne particulates.

Custom Filters

Custom filters are air filters that are specifically designed to fit your air system. We understand how important it is to have the best air filter for your house, and we also understand how difficult it may be to find the perfect filter size. For that reason, we produce custom size filters that will fit your air system and meet your air quality needs.

Custom Accumulair Filters

  • Electrostatic whole house filters
  • Available as APR 1950, APR 1550, or APR 650
  • Remove pollutants like dust, dander, pollen, mold spores, and bacteria
  • 20 times more efficient than standard filters
  • Last up to 3 months
  • Can be produced in virtually any dimensions!

Our custom Accumulair filters are highly efficient filters that use electrostatic filtration to remove particulates from the air. Made of electrostatically charged filter media, these filters trap oppositely charged pollutants like a magnet. Our custom filters are available as APR 1950, APR 1550, or APR 650. APR stands for Accumulair Performance Rating. This rating has been established by the manufacturer of the Accumulair Filters. This rating exists to demonstrate the different levels of efficiency throughout the Accumulair filter line. Generally speaking, the higher the APR, the better the filter performs in capturing small airborne particles. This rating system is an internal rating system and applies to Accumulair filters only.

Our custom filters are highly efficient filters. These filters are up to 20 times more efficient than regular fiberglass filters! They are designed to produce high quality air filtration superior to that of ordinary particulate filters. However, because the electrostatic charge becomes weaker after use and eventually loses its charge, it is important to keep the filters replaced regularly; generally, they should be replaced every 3 months for optimum performance.

We can produce virtually any filter size you need. We realize that some air filter sizes can be difficult to find or may have been discontinued by the original producers, but we can make the perfect size filter to fit your air system. For this reason, we cannot guarantee a refund or credit. The first step is to measure your filter for the exact dimensions. We have listed all the sizes we offer for height, width, and thickness. (However, when you receive the filter, it may not be stamped with the exact dimensions but rather a rounded number; for example, a 16 x 25 filter typically measures 15 ½ x 24 ½.) If for whatever reason you cannot find your size or if you have any additional concerns, feel free to call our toll-free number 877-476-9511 for any questions you may have.
