These filters are made of a fiberglass filter media that uses electronic filtration to trap particles. Electronic filtration works by running an electric current through the filter media so that the air particles are given a charge and are attracted to the oppositely charged filter media. These filters remove large particulates like pollen, lint, dust particles, and hair.
