Miele Vacuum History

A German company, Miele has been in business since it was founded by Carl Miele and Reinhard Zinkann in 1899. The company began by producing cream separators, but with its quick success, the company expanded to production of a large variety of household products, as well as transportation products such as bicycles and even the motorcar.

The decades following the company’s premier brought the company many successes along the way. In 1929, Miele launched production of its first vacuum cleaner. The sales began growing quickly throughout the 1930s, but production of all household products came to a standstill during World War II. It was not until the 1950s that vacuum production and sales saw another rise. Miele launched advertisement campaigns to encourage sales of vacuums, and Miele has been selling high quality vacuum cleaners ever since.

Miele Vacuum Cleaners

Miele’s latest addition to the vacuum industry is the S5 vacuum cleaner series, introduced in 2005. Miele offers canister vacuums, upright vacuums, and stick vacuum cleaners. These vacuum cleaners are each designed for specific vacuuming purposes. For example, Miele upright vacuums are made with superior suction for reaching below the surface and finding dirt and debris hiding in deep carpeting. Canister vacuums, on the other hand, are made for more portable use, for example up and down stairs, and are great for hard floors. Stick vacuums are more suited for cleaning up quick spills with an efficiency that exceeds a broom.

Miele Vacuum Filters

Miele vacuum cleaners do a great job of getting everyday cleaning jobs done with efficiency, quality, and great results. One feature that adds to the success of these vacuums is the highly efficient filtration used in Miele vacuum cleaners.

Like most vacuums today, Miele also comes prepared with filtration media. Carpets and furniture, especially thick cloths, are perfect for hosting indoor air pollutants. The problem is that these pollutants are microscopic and are not easily trapped by vacuums. Many vacuum cleaners just stir up these pollutants and spew them back into the air where they can be breathed. Breathing pollutants like dust mite debris, pollen, and pet dander can have negative effects, especially for allergy and asthma sufferers.

Miele vacuums solve this problem by having filters that trap these air pollutants. Miele vacuums utilize HEPA filtration, which is a highly efficient method of filtration. HEPA filters remove 99.97% of particles that are 0.3 microns and larger, which means that they remove pollutnats like tobacco smoke, pet dander, pollen, dust mite debris, mold spores, and grasses. By trapping these pollutants, Miele vacuum filters improve your vacuuming experience and also keep your air cleaner and healthier to breathe.

Vacuuming is much more than the brand. For an improved vacuuming experience, do not forget to purchase your Miele vacuum filters. Order today and breathe the results of more efficient vacuuming and higher quality indoor air!
