8 Celebrity Kitchen Designs that Rock

From Timberlake to Ga-Ga we have the music celebrity kitchens that have rocked the interior design world. Enjoy your tour of the Hearts of these eight artists’ homes.

So often when we think about our Rock Gods and Godesses, we imagine them jetting to and from glamorous venues, being pampered, catered to, waited on, doing a lot of lavish shopping and sipping Champagne the entire time. How often, however, do we envision them in their footie pajamas eating a bowl of cereal, grabbing a midnight snack in their sock feet or slaving over the stove to prepare a meal for their families? Well, these photos give a new life and more realistic perspective to our imaginations. We’re actually able to gain a little more insight about the Rockers we love; their style and what their midnight munchy runs might look like.

1. Justin Timberlake can do anything. The music & fashion icon could easily add expert cook to his list of talents if he spent enough time in his incredibly equipped Tribeca kitchen honing his skills. It features restaurant-quality appliances by both Wolf and Sub-Zero. It also has beautiful hardwood floors and an 11-foot ceiling. The natural light and breath taking view of New York City’s skyline are what set this rocking kitchen apart from the rest.

2. Elton John and David Furnish both had input while decorating their Los Angelas kitchen. The colors of a of kelly green, black and purple capture a circa-1969 style. As do the the chrome and retro crystal chandelier that was said to have once hung at the Grand Hotel in Milan, Italy. "We both wanted it to be very L.A. and very '70s," explained Furnish. He describes the unique space as “very Boogie Nights.”

Kelly Clarkson Kitchen

3. Kelly Clarkson’s Belle Meade kitchen has a subtle Country, yet modern & edgy charm, much like Clarkson herself. The open kitchen design is homey, yet striking and soft. Rumor has it that she has not spent a lot of time cooking in this kitchen, but we are betting the soon to be newlywed will be preparing a few meals in the near future for her new man in her new Tennessee home.

John Mayer Kitchen (Credit: Simon Upton, http://www.elledecor.com/celebrity-style/homes/celebrity-kitchens-john-mayer)

4. John Mayer's kitchen was definitely designed with his masculinity in mind. The clean lines and sleek modern furnishings assist Mayer in living his trademark simplistic lifestyle. He may be one of the most laid back dudes in music, but his eye for design is exceptional. Armani/Casa, designed not only this kitchen but his entire apartment in New York. Let’s just say with Armani/Casa at the helm, his apartment much like “Her Body” is probably a wonderland.

Taylor Swift Kitchen (Credit: http://abcnews.go.com/Business/slideshow/celebrity-kitchens-photos-14968373)

5. Taylor Swift tweets and talks often about the fact that she loves to bake. She reportedly makes baking dates with her friends like Selena Gomez and Emma Stone as much as her busy schedule will allow. Unlike most girls her age baking up cookies in their college dorm or shared apartments, Swift has a number of kitchens she can get cooking in. When she gets bored with Bundt cakes in this Beverly Hills kitchen, she has the option to cook in the Cape or practice her skills in one of her three Nashville digs. Makes you wonder, we know she writes revenge tunes. Do you think she ever bake revenge brownies? Hmm…

Sheryl Crow Kitchen (Credit: http://clairecavalieri.com/homes/these-celebrity-kitchens-are-cookin/)

6. How much time can you imagine Sheryl Crow spends in this gorgeous, spacious Nashville kitchen? Her 154-acre, solar farm keeps her busy we are sure and is currently on the market for $7.5 million, if any of you First Cut fans are in the buyer’s market. Perfect for cooking and entertaining, Crow’s kitchen features tons of counter and storage space, a large wine cooler, and seating for six around the ample eat-in bar. The fish tank adds a unique and personal touch to this fun and functional family space.

Lady GaGa Kitchen (Credit: http://clairecavalieri.com/homes/these-celebrity-kitchens-are-cookin/)

7. Could the idea for the infamous “Meat” dress have been created in this beautiful Bel-Air, CA kitchen? Who knows, only Lady Ga-Ga we guess. Not what you expected from the eccentric music maven? Yeah, us either. But the fact she rents this home with its gigantic, gourmet kitchen for $25,000 a month may mean it is not exactly her style or maybe it is. Sources say she is actually quite the traditional homemaker, which would make this outdoor eating area with its breath taking views of Los Angeles just her taste.  Either way we would not turn down an invite to a dinner party at the Ga-Ga pad any day of the week, even if meat attire was required.

Christina Aguilera Kitchen (Credit: http://abcnews.go.com/Business/slideshow/celebrity-kitchens-photos-14968373)

8. This Beverly Hills kitchen belonging to singer Christina Aguilera was at one point frequently featured on the Mtv reality show the Osborne’s. Previously owned by yet more Music Royalty, the Osborne clan, it’s now styled in such a way that reflects Christina’s personal and family oriented style. The traditional décor combined with bold color is definitive of who Aguilera presents herself to be now as a new mom. She is not only one of the most amazing voices of all time, looks like she may have a future in “Burlesque” Home Design, if that is even a thing. If not, I’m sure Christina could make it the next Shabby Chic.
