Dust Bunnies Recipe
MMmmmm dust bunnies. This scrumptious recipe goes quick at parties or even to have spread out at the house. Most can’t just stop at a handful; I know I would eat the entire bowl. It’s super easy to make and it’s definitely a favorite munchy to have around. Just 4 ingredients and common sense instructions can turn this snack into a fab nosh. I used an entire box of corn chex and it made a bowl size amount. However, you can use honey chex and gives it a sweeter taste. Directions To use a double boiler, boil and then simmer water in a saucepan and place a mixing bowl on top to fit the rim of the sauce pan. Make sure the water is not touching the bottom of the bowl. (Caution: the bowl may get hot during use).Using a double boiler, melt the semi-sweet chocolate with Vanilla coffee creamer until it is completely melted and is given a liquid consistency. Add the peanut butter morsels until melted. Once completely melted, add the entire box of chex cereal to the melted chocolate. If mixing bowl is not big enough to hold cereal, you can transfer to a bigger bowl using a rubber spatula. Mix everything together. Add 2 cups of powdered sugar to a large zip lock bag. Then add the chex mix to the zip lock bag. Shake it like a Polaroid picture! Spread your mix on a cookie sheet to cool. Voila! Dust Bunnies! Ingredients- Corn or Honey Chex Cereal
- 1 package of semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- 1 package of peanut butter morsels
- 1 Cup Vanilla Coffee Creamer
- 1 cup Powdered sugar
